Obviously trauma and circumstance has caused issues in his development, but you are acting way too over-familiar.
Anyways I need to see how long she looked after him and in what context. Because being a nanny (primary caregiver) and being with him for years (major influence) is a hard pass. He already seems deeply affected by her existence despite everything that happened since he last saw her.
