Ffs is it impossible for those FLs to just say “no”? They don’t care about breaking rules or be rude to everyone but as soon as a female rival/villain appears all of them become yes-women🙄

MC is not a guest there in the sense of an equal visiting, she´s a low-rank getting told to show up. Only reason she´d have ANY power there is because she´s done enough to have many watch her (curiousity or to check usefulness), so the royals might not react to every scratch on their pride. But the queen has tons of ways to harm MC, MC´s family, friends, subjects, projects, etc. And MC is already stepping on the queen´s AND the king´s toes by not “behaving” and by becoming a (potential) annoyance, if not outright problem.
