Hello, i haven’t taken my meds today so I’m not rally good, so based in that I’m going to comment on Fl actions.
Guys, she’s traumatized and probably depressed. She was betrayed, betrayed by the one she most loved and cherished. She’s tired, even tho she got kinda mad because of it, she’s just tired and want to live an happy life only, she doesn’t want to anyone to love her or anything, she just wants a peaceful and happy life. She got used to the way she was treated in the house, the way she was treated by the duke, or the maids, or even her “brothers”. And she’s afraid that she will get used to receiving this love that she thinks might go away the moment the antagonist appears. Being betrayed by someone that you deeply love, not in a romantic way, but in a way deep way, is extremely “breaking”. At first, you hate them and than at second you just want to forget it, you want to pretend they don’t exist, just the sight of them make memories you want to forget reappear, and this, this feel like hell, even more if you see them on a daily basis, at third you want to forget what they did to you, and you want to go back the way it were, you want them again in your life. At last you forget, but not forgive. You start to realize more the way that they treated you, the way that they tried to hurt you, and you just.. give up. You don’t want them in your life anymore, your tired of their games, your tired of trying to fix something that shattered, and just move on.
Okay okay My theory is that after she died in her past life, the fam found out Loriena was lying and turned back time and don’t have those full memories and that’s why they are getting these feelings here
The whole reason they weren’t great with her is she never bothered to form a relationship with anyone but the sister. Plus they had the sister manipulating everything.
It’s understandable that she’s cautious like this because her past life they were bad to her and just because the grand duke seems a bit different now shouldn’t be a reason for her to let her guard down. It’s too early for that and it’s foolish that you guys should expect her to.
I read the novel and there’s going to be so many freaking times where she puts herself down and it’s so annoying omg! But, she’ll grow out of it and be amazing.

she recognizes the duke is different but it’s like she deliberately chooses to not delve any deeper or acknowledge the fact that he’s acting that way because of her. i know she already plans on living a meek life but i hope she’s not going to stick to that kind of thinking for too long. She clearly has the potential to be so much more than just a cockaroach.
