Also, let’s be honest, the mind control/brainwashing trick is overused and a cheap cop out. No, it’s not completely their fault (they still treated her coldly before her “sister” came btw) but what are all these fls supposed to do? It shouldn’t negate her suffering! Where should she direct all her sadness and pain? It can’t just magically disappear (even tho a lot of FLs forgive them). Realistically, you can’t just erase years of abuse, neglect, and pain. When it comes to redemption, I’ve only read one good novel that really hashed it out and they were brothers. To end up with your murderer/bully… couldn’t be me. I stand by these characters needing therapy and not love!
So why do I still read these? Like I said, I NEED to see their guilt to balance my heart. The FLs are all generally very likeable. They should be cherished!! I would be a better partner 😤

The story will not be like Abandoned empress or Like those shitty ML’s regressions typo. Here ML and His fam were in spell , they were in mind control. Imagine SO brainwashed you, then you won’t think Ike you should rather you will do as that person said same here . Then Now the family gonna remember everything and will help her with their best. The Duke will die to to save her . So I don’t think it’s a bad Story rather. There’s a lot of plot and twist the main villain wasn’t the sister . So it’s not a waste. And I love groveling so it’s perfect for me .
