Tysm. Even I have to admit I had some difficulties grasping what exactly was being said this chapter despite the translation actually being decent with a lot of enhanced vocabulary. I think the reason I or even other people had problems with understanding the concept of the chapter is due to the oldest Grand Duke’s son switching from talking about his father’s reputation to marriage and then to the artifact/ownerless named being discovered and challenged. I didn’t realize what he was talking about was related to what the youngest Grand Duke’s son was talking about before. I had to reread this twice to get the gist of it. Hopefully it is clarified more thoroughly in the next chapter. But here’s the basics of it:
Basically, an artifact(The Named)called Hesaros was recently challenged(wanted) by the Count’s daughter. Since Hesaros has no owner, any magician has the right to challenge its ownership. These people are referred to as “Challengers”. The artifact is the same one Sienna saw in the Nacht’s hall of Fame (or whatever it was called). Which means the artifact is currently in the Nacht residence which is why the Count even sent a letter to the Nacht residence in the first place. As Sienna mentioned previously, the only one to have challenged the artifact’s ownership in her last life was Lorena. And as we can recall, when Lorena did this, the artifact was damaged and Lorena was bedridden for a long time. This aroused some concern for Sienna since Lorena did have Sienna’s power in her which could have been the cause of the artifact rejecting Lorena’s ownership. But now, Lorena has the opportunity to change that since she is the closest one to that artifact out of all the challengers. And I think the Grand Duke’s oldest son believes the same. Anyways, that’s pretty much the ground knowledge needed to understand the important events related to the artifact that is to come. Apologies for writing so much, I was just planning on writing up a quick little summary but it ended up being… this. Hoped this helped!
ahhh i wondering why TL suddenly got bad, this is the same story, different title. I’ll have to find the TL that i was reading before because this TL changed the story for me.
Dropping this bc the translation is bad. Yes, I know I’m reading it for free so I don’t have the right to complain but for possible improvement, I’m just letting them know the trans is difficult to understand.

The problem is not challenge the named, after all there’s a 0 % of chance that the named choose you. Is all about catching the eyes of the Natch as someone worth it to ensure a position that get you close to the Young Duke, just as Lorraine did in the past.
Let’s just say, that some people in the future is going to have for granted that Sienna is gonna married Ashiel, just because she was choose as a child of Natch, and for other things that I’m not going to spoiler.
Nahh..the translation is good.
That redhead is the future is going to become one of my favourites character despite the way she is going to behave in the next chapters.
