Y’all trauma doesn’t go away like magic it can take years for them to get better I know someone who had trauma it was very hard for them… so just give her some time. Also I think the author wants to show how much she will grow in the future

“I get that she’s traumatized but…” Do y’all realize how you sound? Trauma doesn’t just automatically disappear even if the condition of life improve. Trauma literally changes chemicals in your brain. Y’all are so used to trauma being used as just as a sad backstory brought and don’t realize that it literally alters a character.
