I dont like the ppl commenting against the fml, invalidating all her experiences and downsizing it as something ‘just being dramatic and ‘just being dumb’. Yall, are so mean. Honestly. Maybe you never felt how having an extremely low self esteem is, or how painfully traumatizing it is to live with a narcissist, or how it is to have your abuser to be a part of your family— i know that this is just a manhwa we can read to pass time and the fml is just a character, but ppl with the same traumas exist out there. How can yall think like that. Just drop the manhwa please, if you’re going to talk negatively about the fml. Read @CardiaChin’s comment. That’s the most sensible thing ive read from the comment section.
And for @Bruhbruhlmaolmao, “No one are able to help a person who don’t want to get help.” Time is a crucial factor when it comes to healing. Even physical wounds wont heal just because you put a medicine on it. It’s a good thing that you have a strong mentality, but not everyone accept and process situations the same as you. Especially those who grew up in a very u healthy environment and were mentally and emotionally abused by their family members. She was an orphan to begin with, i don’t have any intention to generalize all orphans out there to be ‘meek’, ‘timid’ and ‘overly concious’ but growing without parental love will surely affect one’s foundation of self esteem.

Also BingeReader, it’s less she’s protecting her tormentors and more she’s bracing to take the hits. She so used to the constant verbal abuse and neglect that she expects it, and worse thinks she deserves it. It’s hard to stand and fight for a case you don’t believe in, especially when you when your brainwashed to join the enemy team before the fights even starts.
Whats worse is that her dreams are making her condition worse as her past memories are adding to the freshness of the wounds inflicted on her from her past life. Im surprised shes doing as well as she is rn. It could be a lot worse
@BingeReader I’ve been thinking this for a while but all of the things she’s been doing and thinking up to now to avoid Leiana. It wouldn’t be a stretch to say that Leiana is Siena’s abuser on top of manipulator. I’m not too experienced is psychology but I know that it is extremely difficult to confront your abuser. That alone justifies why Siena is irresolute and skulks around matters concerning Leiana. Where would the courage to even confront her come from? Siena’s been under the guise that she holds very little power and her guardians absolutely hated her in her past life. There’s no reason to think that she’d be powerful enough to overthrow the beloved Leianna. So, the optimal solution would just be to tread carefully and lay low. That’s just how I analyzed the situation though. I could be missing some facts but all I can conclude is that it’s not right to call Siena weak just because she can’t muster up the courage or power to face her abusers head on.
what does she mean she’s not nice enough to protect the person that mistreated her when that’s exactly what she did in her 1st life??? she’s sorta doing it again in this life too by laying out the groundwork for Leiana to gain the position she had in the 1st life, in this life.
And I dont like all of them if they want to ignore its better to move her out of their house name least can save her from humiliation and lessen the burden of their family name and guilt
