y’all she isn’t gonna heal from trauma overnight – take a piece of paper for example, crunch it up, throw it around, etc, after that unfold it and see if it’s the same. Try flattening it, ( or in her case warm up to her and show her affection) , but it still won’t be the same as it was before. No matter how much you try scars and trauma will still be left like a scar. Just imagine how you would feel when your source of comfort, trust, affection, motivation and life betrayed and manipulated you into your death, how would you feel? Your family didn’t even acknowledge you as a person in the slightest, the very people who gave you these issues in the first people suddenly warmed up to you overnight you can’t let a grudge or resentment go easily without having time to process and heal from what has happened to you.
