I don’t know how the grand duke managed to find her, maybe he somehow had the effects of the spell/brainwashing weakened when he stumbled upon her in the slums.
However, what I’m guessing is that the FL has always been Ophelia.
Maybe she has once died, reincarnated as Do-Ah just to gain that particular knowledge about physiognomy/astrology and all and going back to being Ophelia just to be able to counter the great scheme which aims at destroying the grand duke and his household.
I’m sure its all the emperor’s doing who is very much afraid of his talented hero brother who is well-liked by the masses.
He has killed his wife and has planted this witch in her place just to kill them all off little by little after exploiting them to the fullest.
But why did they decide to get rid of the little girl? Did she perhaps inherited a certain power? Or did she witness something she shouldn’t have like the death of her mother?
Whatever the case, she is the real daughter of the household, and has come back equipped with that knowledge to demystify the whole situation and save herself and everyone else.

Now, how about the boy? He may be another victim of the emperor or his subordinates. A lost heir to a kingdom/dukedom or something like that maybe.

I remember the FL used to say something’s wrong about the grand duke, like, his eyes are lifeless or something. Maybe he’s under some kind of mind controlling or brainwashing by this woman?
