I actually hope the white-haired Grand Duke is also the male lead and that Sir Easeris will just marry Rosemary who is also a great fighter and very dependable.
It would be so annoying if the Grand Duke just died for some reason (assassination maybe) and afterwards that typical rather-reticent short dark-haired “top fighter” would marry the female lead, such becoming the Grand Duke himself by that.
There is a quite simple manga by Nishizen Mio called “I became the stepmother who caused my favorite character to fall into darkness” where the isekai’d female lead marries a long-haired softie noble who has a son, but then the couple never grows closer, doesn’t sleep in the same room, hardly ever talks and nearly never even has meals together….
However, there’s a friend too – a dark-haired battle-experienced distrustful and rather arrogant noble of an even higher status who takes the stage from chapter 1 on and gets a lot of “screentime”… Even the female leads thoughts revolve a lot more around her hubby’s friend than around her own husband.
And what a “surprise” – the pitiful hubby is soon murdered and his dark-haired friend becomes be the actual male lead who quickly marries the female lead and everything is about these two and their adopted son from then on 🙁
