I feel like maybe people shouldn’t be too hard in the parents considering that the basis of this manhwa is that it’s a story written by a unknown power and that all the actions of the characters in the story are predetermined and before this the only person in the story who could freely control their actions was the FL there’s clearly manipulation going on a side of the story that we as readers are seeing cause this is the first time the MC has free will.

I think they did the right thing by leaving her alone for a bit while keeping an eye on her, because, naturally, because of her reactions, they just thought she hadn’t had time to process what happened and that she needed time to do so (even if that wasn’t exactly what is really happening) as one does when you lose someone
