OK so imma clear up some misunderstanding so the twin brothers whom we saw a little while ago if you have read other mahwa’s they might not be blood related as our dear protag is the DIRECT DESCENDENT.
The reason why the empress believes she was the one who put Cyan/Sian in the dad’s house is because she knows that the children that the dad finds if they are injured then he would help them.
The reason protag was questioning to whether help her dad or not is because she never lived a life where she has to help someone.
In all the previous lives because the daughter never intervened for her dad she never existed and she couldn’t even meet him because of the whole extra thing.
Peter is Sian/Cyan he was just made a slave by his own mother because she wanted him to kill the ‘villain’ first as he is the original ‘MC’ so she can live the life of an “MC”, i.e. one where she lives.
the reason why empress is sending someone else rather than someone she has hired is because 1.The dad defeated the kingdom so they have more hate towards him and
2. It won’t go back to her as in her opinion there is no one else (she is questioning our protag) other than her who remembers the past so he would still be the same kill people on sight.
it seems that empress was regresses first and then send her son to the same house where protag and mom lived that means she could have just saved the mom but she is probably blinded by her hate towards dad to even care.
