Sounds like they already know she is illegitimate, judging from the siblings’ behavior along with the fact the duchess is called duchess instead of mother. The question is why would they take a child from another founding family? Especially to just marry her off? They could have very easily adopted someone like they did with estelle so why take the risk of taking the child of a high ranking family?
