MY READING HISTORY
You don't have anything in histories

Her one personality trait is I ♥️ rice. She’s lived through the agricultural industry and she can’t think of diversifying her interests to other edible plants? What about the problem of if you plant on soil over and over it becomes barren? The solution was to pull out nitrogen from the air to put in the soil. I get it that’s too much but there’s the issue of the rice loving demons they just introduced. It’s so dumb. I’m dropping this stupidity

@AMarshmallowOnTop HONESTLY THO

Rice grows in the wild too. European rice plants and Asian rice plants need different climates. How does the author write a farming story and know nothing about farming?
LostMyWallet
you know rice needs to be submerged in water

@MiscMech Fr imagine being thrown into a world where magic is real and still being fixated on rice 😭 I love rice as much as any other asian but come on. Really goes to show how little some korean authors give a sht about putting logic into their work
FabledSable
Rice attracts demonic monsters.
Le FL: yaay let’s create the biggest rice farm in our duchy~~ 🤡🤡
B!tch you got reincarnated into a magical world and your priority is creating monster feed?? You better research and make sure these demonic monsters are just harmless bunnies and won’t attack humans before you get on with it

@HoneyToast: truer words have never been spoken before. I’m Asian too but i cringe whenever I see these authors introducing rice, spice and extremely spicy or pungent dishes to clearly medieval european nobles and they magically become extremely popular… Food is part of culture and people especially those sticklers for rules nobles would never open handedly welcome a foreign item unless they’re facing some extreme famine and the only option is to try a new and available item. And even if it’s something they find extremely palatable, they’ll suppress it’s popularity until all of them could get a part of the profits. So all these isekai/reincarnated FLs introducing these dishes and becoming rich and affluent without any backlash is more improbable and fantastical than magic and dragons of their new world tbh.

Girl… you’ve been given a second chance in a magical fantasy kingdom…. Please think about things aside from rice.
HoneyToast
Let’s be real, Europeans, especially nobles won’t really like rice and won’t eat it on a regular basis like Asians, Middle Easterners, and Hispanics. It’s not lucrative to cultivate it at all. Colder temperatures and harsher soils make it difficult too. I’m so tired so authors pushing their cuisine so extremely. I’m asian and I love our food but it’s too unrealistic for old European nobles to like soju and kimchi (like other stories have actually done) be fr.
