Also I just don’t get it. A fallen noble without riches, but he HAS riches, supposedly killed off his family in a fire for it, has infamy but is a DUKE. Also on that note…why must she be “marked” to he engaged and just not, IDK, engaged above her station regardless because He’S a DuKe?!
