I think her sister Eloise was more a figure everyone wanted to protect and inspired the MLs in the game to gather around her for that purpose only. She’s beautiful inside and out in the story of the game and thus all of those obssessive men wanted to keep her around (because she made them feel good when around them) but with Lillian it’s different, her talent inspires awe and her attitude now, commands respect, thus awakening the MLs admiration for her and perhaps even a desire to know how her brain works, what moves her. Plus, she’s full of passion towards ingeneering or magitech as she calls it, and that’s also a source of wonder for these already disfunctional “capture targets” within the game, so I hope she won’t get caught in the drama of the game so she can navigate safely towards a nice, cozy and bright future.
