Typical elements, poor execution, shallow, depthless…..

FL – a true dumb woman, violent and impulsive in past got executed by her own sis which have no more that 3 braincells but studied her sis well…
ML – a true dumb manchild, he is underwhelming and repulsive, for someone comptent he surely have no bitch detector… imo he is the worst character in the story…..

I don’t like stories where such manchilds get the girl well ofc the girl is unpleasant dumb woman still this story is very trashy…….

I really like the art, but the already well-known story with tons of typical tropes and actually not even much happening isn’t really worth the time reading it I’m afraid. It’s quite sad because there’s still a lot that could make such a story interesting and unique, especially since the female lead is doing her best and I would cheer her on, but… sadly so many chances are being wasted here.
To top it off the text is rather confusing.
The female lead was married to the crown prince when she was falsely accused and executed, and after she returns in time, she’s ALREADY the wife of the crown prince again – just nobody addresses her as such.
Instead she lives in a seperate palace or so, and even most servants look down on because of her black hair and her former villainous/rebellious behaviour.
She calls her own royal husband “Lord Caesar” even in her thoughts, and she herself is only called “Lady Elisabeth” by everyone. The couple obviously also never spent even one night together, and everybody is fine with that.
The male lead (the crown prince and husband of the female lead) was and is super rude towards her, openly dislikes her, but suddenly starts to take interest in his own wife when she declares that she wants to distance herself from him and works hard to act more kindly and gracefully.
Unfortunately the male lead was a brainless idiot for years in the first timeline who never realized that his wife has been played by her saintly looking blond sister (but NOT an actual “saintess”) that had always made her dark-haired sister look bad and even faked being poisoned in the first timeline.
Seemingly nobody checked if there was actually poison in the tea, instead even her husband accused the female lead of trying to poison him too, because he as well was served tea by her at this occasion. That alone was then enough to have her executed.
Still, in the now second timeline, the female lead does not actually take a distance from her dangerous husband and from her scheming sister (like by taking a vacation far away), instead she just reacts a bit differently and then even slowly drops her suspicions towards her stiff husband … and then she even starts to fall for his looks (again)? Are you kidding me?!
