I figured it out. I think that girl is lying. Well at the very least partially lying. If she was telling the full truth, she wouldn’t have suggested the Grand Duke as a marriage prospect. She might have been telling the truth about Della dying and the trouble with her brother but I have a feeling she pushed Della to die sooner rather than later. By sending her into the arms of the Grand Duke who probably died in the novel.
