So I’ve thought this for a while, but I don’t think Cedric and Lysia were actually ever going to get married before. Being engaged could have been a trick or for political reasons, but we’ll never actually know whether or not they loved each other before. The prophecy of Lysia being empress could have been fake to get her close to Lawrence, maybe she was meant to help kill him or something.
This timeline is meant to be different from the original, but Tia, for some reason, hasn’t accepted that even though her actions were always meant to change the future. I get the feeling that maybe Cedric loved Tia before too, but neither of them ever really met besides the time they danced, and Cedric asked her to take care if Lysia because he thought he could trust her. He might not have known before she was betrayed that she was behind a lot of bad things that happened.
Can you blame her tho? What kind of person are you to take everything away from your friend that was originally hers when your intentions were to secure those things for her.
Lydia won’t be mad, but if it were you in her place how would you feel if you found out that your friend’s bombastic husband, the people’s love and admiration, the title of empress and saintess were originally supposed to be yours?

The moment she decided to marry Cedric everything was already changed. And the fact that she thinks after making Cedric emperor and throwing him onto lysia is will make everything right is really miserable. Cedric loves her and she knows that very well and she still thinks Cedric can just start living with lysia like it’s nothing !! What does she think of Cedric? A toy?? That’s why I love Aria from villainess turns hourglass, she is a true queen. ?
Maybe because I like this story more than aria story, it will be like I’m biased, but first, if you want to complain, don’t compare with another manhwa. Aria and tia have different situation.
Also tia still did something to take revenge and to make cedric the emperor like what she wants from the start. She’s helping cedric with his situation, make her brother meet with the empress, and she also already did something to her mother in the chapters before this. About cedric, Tia, and lysia, I can understand your frustration but Tia already labelled her own self as a bad person, and lysia is the only person that care for her even if she already knows what Tia did.
