Nooo why y’all hating on her that is understandable, she believes that she is a truly bad Pearson who does not deserve happiness. She believes that she is not worth love and that she is just temporarily taking place of the blonde girl who is supposed to be the empress and the person that the duke loves (who is a literary a saint). Treating duke like that is not okay but in her situation and because of what she thinks it is absolutely understandable.
