No one prepared her for this and she’s only just escaped from the abuse. What she needs is time and care to heal not to be traumatized again. Told she isn’t good enough, a burden, etc.
Seriously – even if she learned her “real” birthday what’s the big deal? Unless it’s a plot point to find her father, just telling her she’s cared for and her birth was a good thing, and choosing a day to make many happy memories (all things they’re gonna do anyways).

SEE?!? IT’S ALL GAMBLING they gamble the situation. All of their theory to protect Mel sure has pro and cons. But it gets me irritating when they goes “noble mode” just to punish Isaiah, while Isaiah just a mere commoner. While Claude didn’t have any punishment for making Mel meet that darn mother again -_-) sure claude is ML but shouldn’t Claude get justified also?
And just like Isaiah said, Mel lying to herself a little too much. That it was the thing that made her more miserable and pitiful. At least if she wants to “Lie” like that, see the positive side like “at least i have this or that now” instead of saying “i’m fine” over and over without saying the reason why she was fine. It feels more like an excuse that way :”'(
Also the Duke said, it all takes time. But i thing “it takes time” because either she keeps delaying things or she makes decision too fast. Like just now she make things clear with her mom, then She should also make everything clear and reconcile with Isaiah if facing with her mom is “easy” like that.

Yeaaaah, Isaiah does need to be punished but, it most likely won’t be too severe. He just needs to understand that what he did is unacceptable for someone that’s trying to be a knight.

Her childhood friend was just trying to protect her, yes he was upset she still went and I assume grabbed her to hard well trying to sneak her away but he would never hurt her for real. The blonde just uses his position to intimidate others including Melody. I really hope he’s not the ML but of course he will be 🙄😒
