In my pov all of them are wrong. Mel is lying. ALWAYS lying to herself. Isaiah got too emotional. And Claude is gambling this moment (and i didn’t like that) let me explain why he gamble this scene. First he knows the story of her mother abuse and the last time she visit her mom, he just hope that Mel can overcome her trauma which is her mom. BUT he gamble this by ignoring the fact that it could also gone terribly wrong. What if the mother say a thing that will make Mel even more uneasy. Like something crucial about her existence. What if the mother literally bait her to get close to her and hit her? And by meeting her mom, she knew that she will hear all those verbal abuse again and again. It’s all just gambling and they only hope for the good outcome.

Regardless of the intentions Isiah had, it’s true that he let his emotions get the best of him… to the point where he accidentally hurt her. He’s not wrong to be concerned, but he’s wrong for not even being willing to hear her out. I think this Manhwa captures children and their behaviours very well, and that he’s just kinda fighting with his own immaturity, the little duke too. In my opinion, this is a situation where no one is really wrong, it’s just kids being kids. Similarly the little duke could have tried to be a bit more compassionate towards Isiah knowing that he was actually a witness to Melody’s abuse….
