As a victim of abuse, I can tell you that had my parents not forcibly separated me from my abusive ex-partner, I most likely would have stayed with him til he eventually kills me.

Wait, are these comments here fr? The little duke just wants Isaiah to step back ’cause he’s too emotional to see how Mel is uncomfortable/getting hurt in that last scene. And not a lot of people here seem to understand that he’s encouraging Mel in making her own decisions here not like Isaiah who clearly is the one assuming (and imposing) he knows what’s best for her. Mel wants to face her mother so she can finally heal and move on completely. She wants to take initiative in her life. And the first step to that is confronting her past and knowing more of herself (hence her looking to know what her bday is). And the little duke is there just to support and watch over her for that.
The characters in this series are actually well written, idk what the people in the comments are complaining about.
I mean yes okay ishaya is right but he has to listen to Mel too. What she wants to say. And that Nobel brat is getting on my nerves 😒 no one wants to listen to what Mel actually wants.
am I the only one thinking the little duke is crossing the line here?? He doesn’t know her nor her mother or what she went through all those years! yet there he’s, influencing a little girl like he knows better then the others !
Her friend is just worried about her getting hurt and here co.es the noble brat who thinks he knows everything 😒 I wish he wasn’t the ML but of course the blonde always is 😒
