This time, I don’t think Rezef did the killing, even though he wanted that before. I think it’s King’s doing, trying to sow a seed of mistrust, rage and anger between brother and sister so He can get revenge. And remember her brother was only a kid when these same goons tried to kidnap her.
Though Rezef is still a psycho no doubt, and she should stay away from him.

Personal opinion time: Got to applaud the original writer. Even though he was a pie** of s**t in the beginning, we were shown his backstory, his circumstances past and present, how he can have other emotions towards her, all of it. It really felt like he got a second chance, from Cayena and us, he would have grasped happiness with his own hands and all would be glad for him.
But now? Now we can wish him to hell and loudly say “Deserved it!” cause he did, cause he took the chance on the silver plate and through it in the mud. And making all this flow “naturally” with the story instead of forcefully making the readers “feel sorry for the char” isn´t exactly easy. Same now: Making us hate a char is one thing, but this? This is hard, I think the best I´ve read so far OwO
