Rezef is a child I would just like to point that out I know how they’re drawn makes them look older but I’m assuming that he’s only 17 or 18 it wouldn’t be too farfetched for him to quickly succumb to affection that he was craving and the story explains that when the princess was poisoned the modern Korean lady had been stabbed and her soul took over the princess. If that makes sense
There are plenty of stories where a FL suddenly remembered their past life. This story doesn’t do a good job at explaining why she’s so used to this life.
So just think that this is her second life. She remembered reading a novel in her last life about her second life.
So basically she was the princess in her first tl and then was reborn in modern world where she read the novel but at that time she didn’t remember her past life and then she was again born but as a character of the novel she read and that’s when she realized that she has been again reincarnated.. Thats my theory
I wonder why the fl keeps referring to Kayena’s past live as her own. Just curious because usually the fl of a transmigration into a novel trope would not call the original owner of the body’s past life their own. Which makes sense because it really did not belong to them.
