She’s quite pathetic for taking out her frustration on Schauer, but ultimately some people are misunderstanding her reasoning here. Erina’s is suffering from a case of (twisted) righteous jealousy. She thinks she “deserves” the power of Nataly more than her sister because she puts in the effort and she’s willing to conform to tradition instead of seeking a different path like OG Schauer intended to do. It seems like she wanted to “prove” that Schauer was being hypocritical (about being a pacifist) so she purposefully harmed her in a way that would make Schauer lash out. It’s childish and idiotic, but it’s not (only) about acknowledgement or their father’s conservative opinions, that’s just part of the problem.
Erina is garbage. Instead of joining hands with her sister and both of them proving themselves against their father, she fell to jealousy and still doesn’t have her father’s approval
As a younger sibling, I don’t get Erina. The one she should be venting her anger on should be her father, not Schuer. Like isn’t it just to frame her dumb and a villainess? Also instead of being pathetic over the denial of her father’s acknowledgement, shouldn’t she just actually do something in front of him to make him acknowledge her?? Like stop, Erina…who goes confessing a grave crime that they did? Harming the one with aura in sword?…srsly?

So it’s just the usual “You have talent so use it the way I want you to use it” argument. The sister is just a child in an adults body in the end

Such a pathetic reason to poison your sister, who hasn’t done anything wrong
