I mean be fair his communication skills are also absolute trash and he’s equally emotionally abusive. The two have been toxic to each other while in a circumstance that neither would step down or fully express themselves. His being made to face HIS trauma a.k.a the biotch in the other wing is akin to him being made to realize that his wife isn’t just some empty headed prop that exists next to him but a person with feelings that he has FREQUENTLY trampled on before she got vicious and mean about it back.
