Aah no no how can they hurry
No i mean the clarification from earlier when she seen them together he did not explain and now he just letting her go what the man is thinking
I wonder if the translation is correct – I don’t get why the duke doesn’t even react to the accusations of the female lead when she says that HE doesn’t love her? That’s the crucial point! How does he come up with the suggestion to wear a mask?
But it’s also weird how the female lead only thinks so many of her possible answers in her head while not saying even a word to clarify things. He asked what he did wrong, so there is the chance to talk about it all honestly and sort things out.
I do understand that she is afraid of just being lied to and getting murdered later on though…
Again, fuck this guy, please divorce him, get over it and be happy. this is like 70% personal preference I guess but that guy is such a red flag… fucking crybaby who cant get shit done and is literally said to have a sociopathic side and goes around openly with another woman? NAHHHH, be safe girl, you too good for that.
@Nikki. I’ve made some speculations and it seems like the story wants you to try and read between the lines.
On the surface it may look like he’s involved another woman BUT! if he’s been assigned to clean the water ofc he has to work with the Saint.
From the fl perspective she’s going off the book not realizing the book only scratched the surface. Like an outsider’s perspective at what’s going on…..when that may not even be right. like an iceberg effect. There’s more to it.
I’m honestly rooting for the two of them to work out their misunderstandings. ☺️
@yukhey He loves her so much that he’s willing to give her anything she wants, even if it kills him. My guess is that he’s truly in love with her and she has always been insecure, that’s the source of her depression.
I bet it has somethig to do with her family. Much like “under the oak tree” with the difference that the male lead there is a warrior, so he’s used to fighting while this one is a duke in peace time.

honestly 100% think the duke probably was like mind controlled and took aria as our girl and thats why he was so into her.
Honestly hasn’t done much wrong besides the private meetings with aria
