She’s so stupid it almost hurts. She can tell something happened to Luda and that the girl is terrified when she starts to talk about Halen, but then merrily skips off with him after getting that weird feeling from him literally moments before? Then, after more questionable behaviour, dismisses her suspicions as her “imagination” 2 more times right soon thereafter? She acts like this after all the weird sh*t and assassination attempts. She’s more stupid than a lobotomized turkey.
I hate how author keeps trying to make her seem strong and intelligent while having her behave weak and dumb. The only “strong” thing she’s doing is not giving Rael a chance to love and protect her, but that’s weak in its own way because it’s a failure to recognize the circumstances are different now and adapt in even the smallest way to the changes.
