Okay if thats her logic than how about “I had a sad first life when the emperor decided to cheat on me, degrade me, and kill me and the person I loved, so I have justification for doing awful things in my second life and nobody can do anything about it”… how stupid is that argument? Seriously? We all should just be okay with and not argue against the emperor letting his future empress be tortured and killed? He literally watched her be locked up, see her watch the one person she loved take their last breath, see her starved and begging to live, and poisoned. And she’s supposed to over look that!?!?!!!
If I was her I would have told the goddess that if I ever manage to become empress I would make her the goddess of weeds and uselessness and destroy all her temples. I would destroy every sacred place and change the religion of the country.
