wow, this first chapter is so bad, I don’t know who is at fault but whoever set the dialogue made the villain say, “Rael won’t even see me these days!” and then had him step into frame right after that? everyone has already pointed out how little thought was put into the fl ending up in a dungeon so I’ll just agree that it was stupid and there are so many better ways to get her to that point in the story. This needed editing
She actually deserves to get locked up and die. Even a child knows not to trust stranger but she not only trusted a stranger but also went to his place without any protection. You were the empress candidate. If a empire has that kind of empress the the empire is just doomed
First of all, FL is a noble lady and Empress-to-be, she could have just sent servants and knights to fetch the maid.
Secondly, how could a butler/ servant push an Empress-to-be to a room and lock her up???
Thirdly, so there was no guards at all at the gate of the residence of a noble lady / Empress-to-be???
Nothing makes sense so far…

Hope she doesn’t turn into another sort of ‘fool’ when she goes back and starts to take ‘revenge’ like other tropes of it’s kind!
With how it started, I doubt there is any sort of sensibility, strategy and critical thinking happening in this story.
The art isn’t that speaking either, though it’s the first chapter which is usually of better art quality to attract readers.
It’s more like a comic for an early-teens demographic.
