I never read the novel, but now I wish the manhwa stuck to it because I would’ve loved to see emotional development with MC and ML. To be honest, the romance does feel a bit rushed and somewhat forced, so sticking to the novel probably would’ve been a better option for the readers to engage with the characters more in my personal opinion.
Okay, the past few chapters were a rush job. And in this one, they left out some fundamental aspects.
Like Lina left before Seria. Begonia gave an ice crystal in a pouch to reduce the swelling on her face. It is something that Lesche (NO ROUCHE) pokes about.
While talking and sitting on the bench, they got half that scene correct. After Seria mentions his white clothes and head comment, he states it is clean because Linon (NO LENNON) cleans them daily because he is a germaphobe.
And the couple entered before Lina. Who came on her own and caused a commotion. Hannington didn’t come to much later.
While I am still enjoying this, some of these are vital factors in the story.
When a so called “dear friend” wanted to take a walk all the way to the glacier THE DAY OF THE WEDDING CEREMONY, u know that something is off abt this bitch and she tries to steal fl’s man in order for fl to become villainess and she is more victim. Wonder why Callis so dumb to see pass her intention
I think the manhwa is really fast forward I was eagerly waiting for it but in manhwa they are not focusing on the emotional development. In the novel Lina was not so straightforward evil. She was a complicated character that later made some evil choices. She was just a little dumb before. It’s missing here and there is nothing showing why Roche is falling in love with seria not only they showed it when he was still in love when she was engaged. Also the expressions are not good for seria she look way to embarrassed for no reason while in the novel she had a strong personality and lived up to it.
I’m a little upset they didn’t add why their clothes wouldn’t get dirty because it’s a part of the novel that shows into Linon’s (the aide) character a bit more. It’s pretty important to his and Seria’s interactions so I’ll explain it here just in case.

In the novel Lesche explains that the bench is cleaned every day because Linon is a germaphobe, and then Seria swipes her finger on the bench and is surprised theres no dirt. She wonders a bit about how he can clean so much and then later does an experiment on Linon to see if he’d avoid her because of his germaphobia, and he doesn’t. She asks him his reasoning and it’s pretty straightforward “You’re a noble so you’re cleaner” or something like that, their interaction is a lot longer but I don’t want to give a huge spoiler
Ahh I laughed so hard. Usually in Manhwas everyone would Fangirl over the bad OGFL even if she was in the wrong but it’s so refreshing to see people hating on them 😌💅🏻
I’m glad they showed up together and everyone immediately started bad mouthing them lol If he were really sorry he’d already have divorced that sank while trying to prove how sorry he is. I think they should stay together, they’re both awful and deserve each other. Stay miserable and jealous with each other
So glad everyone in the ballroom knows who the real bad guys are. Not a single one of them held any sort of sympathy for Lina nor Callis. They’re all well aware how shameless their action were during the wedding ceremony.😤😤😤 Kudos to them all for giving out a more positive reaction to Seria!!!✊✊❤️❤️
