ugh i hate the excuses of “i don’t know better” you’d be surprised by how much real people actually use that excuse to justify their actions. Like no, you DO know better, you’re just an inconsiderate person who only thinks of yourself.
I don’t care if Lina came from another world or not, anyone in her position who’ve been in that world for more than three seconds have enough courtesy to not bring up a person’s dark past/ deceased mother. She was probably reincarnated as well with memories of the past and uses her position as a “heroine” to live the high life of a rich, incredibly loved female lead with men tied around her finger without putting in any actual work.
It was good that Seria was the bigger person and didn’t cave into anger, especially since there would be serious repercussions to slapping a saint, but I really would’ve been glad if she slapped her.
yeah that “i didn’t know better” is a card she pulls out too often for it be anything but intentional. Either she intentionally chooses to be ignorant despite being given the knowledge then she’d be nothing more than an idiot with powers or she’s a conniving pig in a dress that uses the excuse of being from another world as a disguise to do whatever she likes. she’s had plenty of time to adapt so it comes down to her either being an idiot or a wretch.
Coming up with excuses such as “oh sorry I’m new here” or “I didn’t know about this before” will only save you from other people’s anger the first few times, but saying it /constantly/ after every intentional blunder will only make you look like an idiot before people start regarding you as bully or harasser.
It’s likely been months since Lina traveled from her world to this one and yet she still plays the blame game in order to make herself the victim of nearly every situation 😤 Really annoying!
