Lovely art as always! But the story… Ugh. This guy is overstepping more than a little, and abusing the power-gap to make pushy passes on someone while feigning business talks is actually not okay.
The only thing that makes it bearable is that the female lead is seemingly smitten with him and willing to go along with this date for hours and hours.
We all know that this is supposed to develop into a sweet love story… but in reality you can never know about that! A man like this could just want to bed as many women as possible as long as they’re cute and then treat them coldly and even rudely afterwards while already eyeing his next target…
So many authors seem to dream of a man who has good looks, lots and lots of money and high status too? Do they really think a guy like that will be viewed positively by (female) readers and such can get away with everything? If you look at the state of the world, men of power and riches DO get away with way too much already, which is making the rest of us only more miserable than ever.
