ah…. i think my ability to feel bad for verona disappeared. i still blame her father for /everything/. this is ALL his fault. and his cowardice is what keeps it going on. hell, if he didnt want his second wife to die, he could have pardoned her or something HES THE ONE WITH ALL THE CONTROL BUT HE’S ACTING LIKE THE VICTIM AND I HAATTTEEE HIM
that said, trying to force lux to commit suicide by murdering her dog (verona killed the dog, she did it on purpose, she knew that lux wouldnt know what to do and she forced the kid to give the final blow. its too fucked up for words). idk, i understand where she’s coming from but at some point, i just feel like she’s becoming more and more like her father and my excuses for her run thin. i love this series and i love the jester but idk if i can stomach it much more if im incapable of liking verona (i think child and animal murder is just a little too much for me to forgive)
