What’s even the point of proposing when he knows she hates him? Also Tristan has a point, if the Duke clearly knew the princess was acting weird/sick/out of it, why would he give in and sleep with her? He clearly knew she looked drugged or sick because when he approached her, he saw her slumped on the ground leaning on the bench and he asked if she was doing okay…. You don’t find someone slumped on the ground looking sick and then sleep with them. Even if she was saying “everything is good! Let’s sleep together” I wouldn’t have done it knowing she was clearly out of it.
I like it very much till now but I’ll drop it If she fell in love with him, even if he has his own reason but to fall in love with someone whom you hated greatly is weird
