The author probably just has some depraved fetish to see the MC helpless and abused constantly. It happens in a lot of manwha, but this one is just more egregious.
I should add that the author is making great effort to emotionally abuse the MC. She gets called a s-ut in the very first chapter by the prince and she goes through two instances of NTR. Like the whole story with the knight was unnecessary. It’s only been a few weeks since the end of her engagement. There was no need to make her so emotionally invested in the knight. Now she feels betrayed.
This whole manwha leaves a bad taste in my mouth. I actually feel like contacting the author somehow and leaving criticism.
