   positives: it’s relatively good, since the story is well put together, has a solid foundation (the premise is believable) and so far the world building is okay. the MC is kinda generic and without defining traits that isn’t the usual “smart and hypercompetent”, but it gets the job done, I guess. the translation is good, though it’s annoying that they keep calling a count’s son “prince”, instead of simply “lord”.

   negatives: unfortunately many things dampen the potential this story has. firstly, there’s no remarkable character you can really root for, and that’s mainly ’cause all characters are so generic, as if only there to fulfill a purpose and nothing else. secondly, mainly because of the first point, the chapters that follow the villains/antagonists feel wasteful, as if they are fillers no one cares about. that’s specially true for the newest dungeon arc, those mercenaries clearly carry very little importance for the main plotline, so it’s annoying having 4+ chapters dedicated to their squabbling and general incompetence. thirdly, the art is all over the place, it starts okay and gradually worsens. there’s some really unfortunate (to put it mildly) segments out there, it looks so unpolished like they just published the first draft for the chapter without bothering in reviewing it. finally, though this is more of a nitpick, the whole schtick with old ass woman lusting after a 15yo boy is quite weird. I’m not the kind of person that clutch my pearls over age gap relationships, but the way it’s done here feels demeaning, not only to the female characters but also (surprisingly) to the MC as well. it’s like it’s supposed to be a funny bit, but it isnt. it’s just distasteful. btw female characters here are quite the expendable lot, nome of them besides the assassin that had marginal importance at first are side characters with overly stereotyped personalities and roles.
