Ya’ll c’mon stop giving him shit for keeping it a secret. It doesn’t matter if he’s the only one who can use it. What matters is that he’ll be a threat to the position of other powerful individuals, so keeping it a secret is the best thing he can do to protect himself. He can let people assume there isnt anything too extraordinary behind his power, no third party but rather its JUST him. If others get to know there is a third party involved behind his improvement, isnt eliminating said third party from him going to be their priority? They want him to fall. But they cannot separate him from his own genius, so he cant say shit about the book.
