I wonder if they’ll ever address where the soul of this Hildegard is? Because clearly the body already had a soul before FL took her place. I hope that gets explained eventually.

I have a theory for the soul transfer. The Demon King may be involved.
1 prerequisite may be sharing a name and bloodline with the desired transfer.
2 the new host will have to willingly in someway, agree to give their life for the transferee.
Just an idea. I know that magic although grand, follows some rules for certain rule breaking.
