   Positives: art is great, translation is good, story is consistent and coherent, though the plot is not the most original. it at least is told in a different way than usual due to the world building, which is interesting enough. MC has a nice personality, and is overpowered (that’s something I like in MCs so I consider it a positive), there’s also a solid cast of support characters, which I consider important for an action manhwa to be compelling. it has some good humor on it, though I personally think it lacks depth in its drama.

   negatives: this manhwa is one of those that keep making up situations for the MC to shine, as opposed to it happening naturally according to the story’s flow and development. unfortunately it creates cheesy situations (specially in the beginning amongst the other trainees) that are at vest cringe and at worst boring. the whole arc with Martha and her unreasonable/unexplainable picking on Raon is the most poignant expression of that, the whole thing was clearly staged so Raon would prove himself as being “above ur normal genius”. Annoying and unnecessary. also, this specific flaw makes the story repetitive, since it’s always looking for ways to make MC more impressive, instead of letting him grow and evolve naturally with the plotlines. it also doesn’t give the chance (or rarely allows for that to happen) for other characters to shine, which in turn make them look like mere accessories to the MC rather than an actual part of the story. that’s very unfortunate bc the support characters, as stated before, are well made enough to spark interest.

   @clipboard4 While the logical ideology might suggest responsibility, morally. The fault doesn’t lie with him. He was forcibly taken, subjected to abusive training from a young age, and manipulated mentally. He kinda deserved being reborn into a “good” life, would it be “fair” if someone who’s spent years in the darkness, be reborn into darkness? Also, we don’t have much information on the people he killed. Deaths cannot be avoided in this particular setting, it can’t be “fair” all the time.
