   the art is a bit lacking, I personally find the human character styles a bit ugly, but the fighting scenes are good. despite that, it’s just as @LunarSensei said, it’s pretty well written, and it’s actually refreshing to see that the author did bother to research on medieval and monarchic history to write, cause the political built up and the way the story roots itself on historical battle strategies and set ups makes it clear it is meant to be well developed, and not just another action manhwa that uses the medieval era as a background but don’t bother to truly make use of its characteristics in the story itself. I do wish the royal family would make an appearance though, cause it’s very weird all that is happening on their kingdom and there’s not even a mention of their thoughts on the issues. Another gripe I have with it is that the author reutilize some “easy way out” solutions to hard situations, which makes it a little uncreative. Like, MC cured young pretty ladies suffering from painful skin conditions twice aiming at convincing their fathers to join hands with him, and he got the results he wanted both times. Also, battle strategies are starting to look a little too alike, which is also a bit disappointing. Of course, this is me nitpicking, overall it’s simply very good.

   I do wish the the translation would stay consistent, specially on the titles used for MC. MC is NOT a Grand Duke, it’s literally part of the storyline that he doesn’t have that much political power so how could he descend from royalty? it’s stupid. and it’s weird that the translators thought using “your highness” or “your grace” made more sense than simply “my lord” which is the most common way to address nobles anyway. questionable at best innit. but at least the translation is readable and understandable, even if using the wrong words for what the characters mean.

   One of my favorites right now. Truly so good and well written. The fight scenes are super satisfying and the MC is top tier. Read up to ch 72 and can’t wait for more. Also really love the art

   Are you making fun ? @FonkyChonk, you should stop eating mushrooms, they’re bad for you.
   The fights are nothing like ‘western-styled sword fights’: they may be cinematic, but clearly the author and designer have no idea of elementary physics nor combat. A sword will never behave like a javelin, for example… Nothing is even remotely realistic.

   And the hero isn’t ‘powerful’ but completely over-powered. He knows everything in advance, he crushes everything… the usual story of the good-for-nothing who (very quickly) becomes a god.

   In fact, like in “Solo Leveling”, the hero is an egocentric, narcissistic loser who obtains cheating skills “by chance” /instantly /by deus ex machina. There are no tests, no challenges, the hero is incapable of overcoming life’s tests if he doesn’t have ‘cheating’.

   If you remove your brain, the story is lively, but it’s clearly a product made for young males under the age of 15.

   Some of the best choreographed western-styled sword fights I’ve seen in manhwa. The MC is oozing aura, but he’s not OP, just good enough to barely overcome his struggles. 9/10 for me cuz the translation on this website is kinda doo doo sometimes which ruins the immersion, but the manhwa itself is a 10. Imho, if it keeps up this quality or surpass it by chap 50+, we might have the same effect as when solo leveling starts getting recognition.
