I do not like that doctor. I felt so disgusted while reasing this pannel that I skipped most parts, and I usually love horror. But this is just another level of horror. I love this story, don’t get me wrong, but in the storu, I absoultely, utterly despise that so-called “Doctor”. He is nothing more than an actor and if I could, I would decapitate him a million times while cutting off his limbs and watching him crawl on the floor. I despise that character, I utterly and absolutely hate him, so much so that I hate him more than I ever hated anyone else before. I despise him, I feel disgusted by his mere existence and I want his existence to be wiped out. He is not worth existence, he’s a menace to society and I hate him. I hate him so much that I wrote this whole thing. I hate him, I despise him. I’m gonna make a deal with the devil if it gets any worse and WILL get his existence wiped. He’s horrendous, you can’t even call him a human being anymore. He’s much more like a roach, holding onto life while sucking off of others. I hate him.
Yes I agree ⬇️ It’s easy for us to call her dumb now by a the time, mental study was just a blossoming branch in the medical field and the general public who had no knowledge of it. Treatments that seems harsh like this can sound very plausible when coming out of who you believe to be an educated and knowledgeable practitioner, she has no other source of information. It’s not just her, obviously the Earl thought they would do him good to or he wouldn’t go through with it either, he trusted that doctor to “fix” him
this is historically accurate in the sense doctors used to straight up maim and torture people to cure them and people just accepted that because they didnt know better.. wouldnt say its anything against her when a doctor tells her he’s helping and she also just accepts that. he has studied this most of his life and its not like she has ANY medical knowledge like we have at a base level these days. not like she could google hey is electroshock therapy actually a bunch of bullshit. doctor clearly has motives for destroying their marriage and convincing him to treat her like shit and for her to avoid him. why are we calling her a moron and a bitch.
