Lester seems to be a very narrow minded fool who needs therapy instead of harrassing an innocent for things her ancestors did due to the one thing she has in common that she didn’t have a choice in having. Tho I do wonder.. if black magic users are born only to the valia famoly, why wasn’t the family exterminated back at the time of sid to prevent more dark magic users?
Lester seems like a rabid dog that needs to be put down, he has some fixed idea about a sigil when there’s plenty other evil folks with a multitude of sigils out there.

The author doesn’t seem to know how to write believable characters…. this series is unfortunately less and less interesting for each chapter.
