Really unfair when you boil it down and realize the reason he won’t get to marry the FL in this or the previous timeline is because the prince murdered her and her entire family. If he had just properly looked into the culprit behind the poisoning, then they would’ve gotten married no problem. (Granted then there wouldn’t be a story.)
