It is really the point i made earlier is that the story is just written weird with changing her so flipantly and trying to force the romance for no reason making the whole plot of standing alone and gaining her own merrits without help pointless really

As for romance there aint much till side stories

Main story ends with just the truth about their birth and him proposing

Marriage etc is in side story

fall and punishment of the stinkers is also side stories

Needlesly to say guess most already caught on that they truelly…..Twins….not just lookalikes due to sperm donor genes.

their mother being the maid and both duchess and the maid had their memories altered by magic to make this fiasco
