I’m so sad and feel sorry for Hellian, people around her are rude and self centered. She can’t bear the pressure unlike Helga,poor Hellian. She don’t want to pretend but she’s afraid if the prince replace Helga in his heart. Instead of interrogating an innocent lady,why don’t you find Helga in every part of the continent? You her better than Hellian. Do you think Helga left a goodbye to Hellian before leaving for good? That’s odd,no one will do that if they’re desperate to escape
It’s quite simple actually. They believe him a murdered and a psycho. They want the status of marrying into the imperial family, and the crazy mom doesn’t care if MC dies.
To me it doesn’t make since that they want Helga to marry the crown prince. That gives her power above her family essentially screwing them over in a much bigger way than her just running away.
agreed, but i think it’s because the empress doesn’t really do much; or that’s the impression i’m getting. basically she is figure head that does nothing by gets the rewards. and because Helga is the daughter of maid that was switched at birth to grow up with “love, wealth, and status,” she can’t get any high than empress. she’s also not thinking of what Helga could do to them because she still thinks Helga is a submissive doll that will work to benefit them in the long run.
Actually I am quite torn. Yes, in a way, she doesn’t deserve this. However, I can’t excuse the fact that she is trying to fool her sister’s spouse and that should not be excused. At the same time I understand that she was pulled into this hellish family. All she wanted was to have a loving sister and be with whom she thought was her family. Still though, she isn’t really putting up too much fuss about replacing Helga. I just wish she would voice her thoughts more.
