When they’re alone I don’t see why she has to keep up the pretense of being Hyllian/Hellian or whatever her name is. He already knows something is up so just tell him what’s going on.
I like the story but this Helga and Hellian switching places thing is soooooo dumb. 💀 And he already knows so the conflict here is nonexistent but she’s so stressed out.
bruh, her mother’s plan was always doomed to fail. they look alike but that’s it. it’s really damn easy to tell who is who. the fact that her mother and FL are the only one’s that see this idiotic plan working is really frustrating. The prince is already on her side so she mind as well take advantage of that OR she can just have someone that genuinely just wants to be by her side. This girl’s revenge aint leaving much room for her to have allies after her revenge is complete. she’s not giving herself room to breathe and it’s really frustrating to watch. I really want to go into the story and slap her across the face coz bish is capable of better plotting.

Its sad Helga have to suck up all the bs and coddle up Hyllian for “Mother”. Even tho she want the Duchess to be dead, she subconsciously timid, still obeyed and crave her affection. The trauma is strong.
I love the story but some things don’t make sense to me:
1. Why didn’t the moter bring Hyllian when she was young, as we can see she found her when the MC was still a child, why wait all those years? It would have been so much easier to bring her as a child and return Helga to her OG mother or simply get rid of her why go trough all this trouble ?
2. Why did the maid mother switch them in the first place, both of them are the dukes daughters , the only reason i can think of is that she also hates illegitimate children and wanted to raise a pure blooded noble child, or simply to spite the duke (who dosen’t give a fuck).
3. Why is the mother so convinced that Hyllian is her real child they look fucking same, there is no real difference when they are adults and there would be even less when they are babies ? How did she come to that conclusion????

Hellian didn’t want to be away from the maid mother,as the duchess said ,Hellian wanted to stay there…so when that maid died they got her in the duke’s mansion…..that’s what I think…………………………………….2.I don’t really know but there is 2 options..1.is that hellian is the real daughter of the maid mother,and the maid told her she is the real daughter 2. that the maid has made a mistake bc the two babies are so alike ………………………………..3.bc the duchess was angry that the duke cheated on her with a maid that’s why………………all of this is just my opinion..so this could not be real hope you understand

2. idk. imo, I think both girls are the maid’s daughter coz how would the maid be able to not only take the Duchess’s child but switch them out? It seems weird that the maid would have access to the Duchess’s room coz of the infidelity and the fact that she was pregnant with the dukes child.
3. Trauma and narcissism. She obsessed over the image of her lost child so much that, now that Hyllian is in front of her, she’ll tell herself whatever needs to be said to get her perfect child she’s been dreaming of for years. Her narcissism over her own bloodline is why she’s so convinced Hyllian will be able easily replace Helga; coz ofc she takes after her??.
Of course he knows from the start,. it proves his loyalty and love for Helga.,no matter how hard she tried to act,he can read her soul….and it’s just four years not ten lol ?….
This is why i love this manhwa so much, have u ever read so called VILLAINS (MC) manhwa ,that really act like villain? Or have brain or thought as villain? No. Helga isnt even care about inoccent people like her sis , that how villain works.
So if one of the reader hated how Helga treat hellian then fuk of girl. U need to wakeup , this is the real villain works . Don’t be naive
