Isn’t that how villains are made? She called a villain because she ‘received’ everything that was supposed to be the real daughter’s possession- wealth, ‘family’ and honor. She’s a villain because she is not raised with love and that she’s scheming against the beloved daughter who was supposed to be ‘stolen with the life she deserve as atge real daughter.’ that’s how it was portrayed in the fairy tales so yeah. She’s been a noble lady for what? A month? Obviously the intricacies and schemes of the nobility are beyond her. Plus, as long as Helga and the mother’s stories match up, why should she question them? They are literally her only lifeline. If she doubts them, she’ll have to doubt everything about her new house, family, and circumstances. She has no one to rely on, which is why she clings to the idea of being Helga’s sister.
yea I feel bad for her now At first I thought she was just acting nice because now she has power but it seems like despite being the “real daughter” her mom treats her like she is an idiot and won’t explain anything as if she magically had a decade of etiquette training already. And Helga doesn’t trust her, she has no reason to so she is gonna her Hellian because of shit mom.
