He told her all of that because he knows about most Nobel ladies’ shallow thinking and therefore wants to use her to isolate the fl from society so fl would eventually turn to him. Fl happened to be there at that time, so he probably thought of killing two birds with one stone
The only thing that sucks is authors never give much dimension to villainess character to the point they don’t keep their emotions in check think that someone smiling at them is love etc etc then make them act stupid which is followed by hate train of readers which is so stupid I wish even tho villainess Violette would be half as calm as FL
